STRG Election: Helen Roberts

Hi!

I’m Helen Roberts; a second year law student at the LSE and I’m asking for your vote for STRG Chair.

My Experience:

• Current STRG Vice Chair
• Current member of the TRG events committee
• Raffle ticket seller at a LOT of TRG events!
• Ex-Committee of the UCL Student Union Conservatives (I used to go to UCL!)
• Ex-Committee of the LSE Student Union Conservatives

My Aims:

• I want to increase student participation with STRG; this involves getting more universities involved. To do this I aim to create freshers packs for universities around the country to increase awareness of the TRG.
• As a member of the TRG board I will represent students’ needs and work towards more student events and more subsidisation for students at TRG events.
• I will aim to organise more socials such as the pub quiz from this year.
• Another of my goals is to get the STRG to be more involved in campaigns to help local communities and PPC’s.
• I aim for active participation of all students in the STRG; I will always welcome ideas from members.
