So, we had only had the new poll up for half a day, but events (“dear boy“) have over taken us already!
Our poll showed passed a motion of no confidence in Speaker Martin by 75% (OK, so only four people had had time to vote, but there you go). He clearly listened to this deafening result, though, and duly resigned yesterday.

Actually, the view that Speaker Martin should resign his post since he was an impediment to reform may have been unanimous: someone — no names, please! — was momentarily confused by yeas and nays, voting for the Speaker’s departure but against the motion of censure.
Maybe someone needs to be led into the correct voting lobby in future…
