Did he deliver? Oh yes. To have left Gordon Brown looking week as he admits he is not calling a general election is masterly. To be ahead in the polls just a few days after we were trailing by 11 points is extraordinary. This is a leader who has proved he is worth following. Just a little bit disappointed though we are not having an election. We had just started to begin to look forward to it!
